Asha was intended as a house pet and friend for Nina. She did obedience training well, but like all good Siberians she would go hunting if off lead in an unfenced area, so for exercise she worked in harness pulling a scooter.
Nina became too old to play with Asha though she liked having her around, so Seren came to play with Asha. It was not long before they convinced me I should get a rig! Once we had a rig I needed a van, then I went training with other husky owners, it was only a matter of time until I entered a race………
Seren was too fast for Asha, who liked distance rather than race, I ordered a half sister to Seren but her mother did not come in season so I got Jet, in the mean time Serens mother came in to season so we had Tegan 4 months after Jet!
We lost Nina from old age.
(note the fence extensions in the background of the picture, the whole fence has now been replaced, a husky owner soon learns about fencing!)
